Since 1926, the historic Wright Park Zoo has delighted and educated hundreds of thousands of visitors. Situated down the road from the Boot Hill Museum and downtown Dodge City, the Wright Park Zoo is an integral part of the vibrant cultural scene in the most notorious town of the Wild West.

The zoo is currently home to 70+ animals representing 30+ species from almost every continent of the earth and entertains 60,000 visitors a year. The zoo is one of two Zoological Association of America (ZAA) accredited facilities in the state of Kansas.

To make Wright Park Zoo as accessible as possible for everyone, we do not charge admission, and thus we depend on the generous support of community members. Your support is critical to our success — by becoming a friend of the Zoo, you can help make necessary improvements and create educational opportunities for the community and its visitors.

Additional perks that will be offered during any events throughout the year. These could include member-only Zoo events.
